Spike returns to Sunnydale distraught as he was recently dumped by Drusilla. He is seeking revenge on Buffy and Angel as he blames both for driving a wedge between him and Dru. After encountering Willow in the magic shop, Spike decides that he would rather use witchcraft to win Dru back.
