In these three episodes, Angel deals with a fame obsessed actress who wants to remain young forever. Faith decides to come to LA but soon finds herself hired by Wolfram & Hart. Angel still believes he can save her, even when she is trying to kill him… or is she?
While on a routine patrol at the cemetery, Buffy is staked by a vamp and rescued by Riley. Buffy, discouraged by this turn of events, turns to Spike to learn how he was able to kill two slayers in hopes that she can sharpen her skills.
A sarcophagus which contains the turned-to-stone body of a demon called Acathla, who can suck the entire world into hell, is unearthed in Sunnydale and Angelus is determined to awaken him and end history altogether. J. and Brian slice their way through Becoming.
Sunnydale High is haunted by the ghosts of a student and teacher from the 1950s. The night of the Sadie Hawkins dance he killed her in a fit of rage before killing himself. Now Buffy’s classmates, school officials, & the like are being possessed by these ghosts as they replay their final moments with each other.
Angelus’ terror campaign against Buffy and the gang escalates to a new level going as far as to sneak in and watch her sleep at night and leaving drawings of the scene. Angelus is also still getting under Spike’s wheels with his obvious flirtation with Drusilla.
Picking up where Surprise left off, we see Angel in pain in the rainy street. A woman approaches and in a flash Angel, in vamp face, drinks her dry and declares he feels fine. It appears his night of passion has transformed him again into Angelus.
While the gang plans Buffy’s surprise birthday party, Dru and Spike are hard at work to reassemble an indestructible demon called the Judge, who can burn the humanity out of people.
