After sharing a lingering kiss with Potential Slayer Kennedy, Willow transforms into Warren as a mysterious spell hits. Meanwhile, Giles had taken the Potentials to the desert to meet the First Slayer but the gang get word that Giles may be an agent of the First and race to intervene. Xander and others arrive to learn that Giles is indeed himself.

Giles takes Buffy to the desert to search for answers about being a Slayer after Buffy reveals she is afraid being the Slayer is making her cold to her emotions. Meanwhile, the robot version of Buffy ordered by Spike in “I Was made to Love You” is complete and Spike enjoys his new toy. 
While Riley heads to his Initiative debriefing, the gang gathers at Buffy’s house to relax watching videos after the events at the Initiative. By the time the FBI warning comes on, they’re all asleep and dreaming. Each one experiences a fantastical dream exploring their fears and fantasies.
